Corridor of Uncertainty
My daughters are visiting from abroad in a couple of weeks and would like to rent a car from Stansted, returning it there 1 week later.

My elder daughter will be the only driver and is aged 22. She has held a full French licence for 3 years+.

Before I trawl through all the individual sites, does anyone have any useful tips?

Last time, it was a bit of a nightmare, involving us paying a £1000 deposit that wasn't made clear at the time of booking, but was sprung on my kids at a fraught and heaving Friday night Stansted rental desk. We got it back, but I'd rather be prepared/avoid if possible...

SIXT have a specific web page with advice for this
https://www.sixt.co.uk/campaigns/student-offers/ as do most of the companies. Kayak also have a search facility for under 25s. It is unnecessarily complex and normally requires the use of a Credit card with decent limit.
