I believe we used to call this "forum power!".

I have some current plumbing woes when it comes to fitting a new sink and looking for some advice!

What's the problem? I'm not an expert but I've done a few.

Great!

So, im changing an old 2 tap sink to a monobloxk mixer,my issue is as follows:

The plastic pipework in my house is all 10mm. This 10mm pipe goes to an isolator for hot and one for cold under the sink.

This isolator has got a female coupling on the to mate with the existing taps.

The tails I have for my monoblock (and seemingly all I'm able to buy) are female.

How do I go about connecting the female isolator to the female tails?

If it wasn't 10mm pipe I could in theory just change various plastic push fit components but the resources just aren't out there!

I'd undo back to the plastic. Get some speed fit adapters up to 15mm (Wickes or similar), a small length of copper pipe and then use something like ebay: 323155522553. As I recall my local Wickes had speed fit isolators also

You can get these in various sizes with different size ends.

If your flexi from the tap is long enough thats all you will need. Make sure washers are in the female ends you already have and don't twist the flexi pipe or you will have poor flow!

Yes! That's what I'm talking about but 9.99 each is crazy!
