Model: Fiat Coupé 20V Turbo 1999 (T)
Mileage: 122,075 miles
Body colour: Scots Green.
Interior: Tan leather seats (2000+ model spec). These seats are a much lighter than the original 99 Tan seats and have the larger seat cushions. The door cards are also finished in light tan but the carpet is black.
Previous owners: 3
MOT: 03 July 2018 (Will put on new MOT if it sells before July)

Service History: In my ownership this car has been maintained regardless of expense. The cam belt changes have always been undertaken by Roger at Power Italia (Last one in 2015). Other servicing has either been undertaken at Italian specialists, Local Village garage or by myself.

Body Condition is very good. The car was repainted in 2004 to address the lacquer peel on the roof. The car is fitted with a genuine fiat Zender body kit.

It is also fitted with a genuine Coupé Plus front grille.

Modifications:
The car has an FCSS T28 Hybrid Turbo with staggered seals,
An ARMVAL Turbo bleed valve,
Sparco Boost hoses,
A Miltek Cat back exhaust system,
A Bailey metal recirculating dump calve,
An original sparco strut brace.

The car has been converted to a six speed gearbox with a gear knob from a Punto Evo.

The brake callipers have been finished in Yellow with 3G grooved discs (Fronts Re -skimmed in 2015) and Red Stuff pads fitted all round.

Pro-Alloy (CHOD) rear hose replacement and Pro-Alloy link pipe for the front bleed hose.

Wheels are finished in a metallic grey.

Suspension - Billstein dampers and Apex lowering springs.

LED headlamps (FCSS group buy version)
LED side lamps silvered indicator bulbs and clear side repeaters.
LED interior lamp

The car is fitted with a Sony Bluetooth & MP3 head unit with upgraded 6 x 9 rear speakers and upgraded front speakers, crossover and tweeters.

There is a Nomad dual pod pillar with Boost and AFR gauges fitted and Chrome dash rings are fitted to the dash gauges and heater controls.

Known technical issues - Problems

There is a very slight clutch judder. A new clutch was fitted by Power Italia, despite the car not needing one! This didn't fix the issue it so in 2015 a skimmed flywheel was fitted when the car was converted to a six speed gearbox. This also didn't stop the judder but someone has since suggested trying engine mounts. Either that or I'm being too fussy!

Manifold crack - I suspect the manifold is cracked, though it could just need tightening. There is a slight ticking when cold so I have a replacement manifold and gasket ready to fit.

There are some very small dents on the doors and some very slight evidence of corrosion on the wheel arch lips (Pictured).

The interior has the usual rubber peel issue on the dash centre panel and some slight marks on the rear side panels.

PRICE: £5500 OVNO [imgpop][/imgpop]

Since buying the A5 and the TT Roadster the Coupé has sat forgotten about in the garage, rarely seeing the light of day. I was, at the back of my mind, entertaining thoughts of keeping the car for the next Turin anniversary but the last two years have seen me and the fiat drift ever further apart.

So... I'm open to offers

OK time for a bump....

I came really close to making a deal on a pre-registered Coupé replacement last week. This has brought home the reality of how close I'm getting to replacing.

Finally took the car out of the Garage for the first time in 2018.

First I washed off the dust..

And then put the car back on its original plate frown

I then went looking for rusty bits. Out came all the boot carpets and I found some. Nothing too serious, no big holes or rot.

Out with the boot carpets...

On the RHS there was some slight bubbling. So I broke out a powered rotary file and went digging.

There was rust in the seam, so I bug out some of the panel sealant and went prodding with a big prodding stick. There was no rot and no holes - rusty but solid. I cleaned off further then applied a couple of coats of primer and some satin black.

A rear end re-fresh would be a good call to get this car many more years of life and it's what I was planning next if I was going to keep the car. Last year I had even spoken to someone about booking it in.

And finally.... all tucked up again smile

There could be a lot more to this Coupé sale than just getting a great car.

My plans were to keep this Coupé forever so I've collected heaps of stuff over the years. All of it could go with the car.

There are many spare parts and trinkets available, not limited to: Gearboxes, a full set of wheels, a full interior, headlamps, a rocker cover (With crinkle paint) and more.

Cheers Tim. It's not perfect but it's not too far off. There are few jobs to do here and there that when done will ensure the car will be around for many more years to come. I / we love the car to bits and it has been an epic ownership journey. It has taken us across Europe once, sometimes twice a year for several years of it's life. It was the perfect car at the perfect time for us but we are now, sadly, moving on.

Last year we drove over 8000 Miles on four trips around Europe. This could have been a job for the coupé but it would be unfair to keep pushing the old girt that much every summer.

Also as we age so do our needs too. Mod cons such as DSG gearboxes, cruise control, parking sensors & cameras are all really great features when you are getting on a bit laugh

@Branda124, he won't be able to PM you back until you have submitted a minimum of 5 posts...just the way the forum works smile

Either send him another way of communicating or dream up some other stuff on here - replying to this will make TWO posts laugh

Thanks guys. I used to be on the forum many years ago but forgot my log-in details. I had a Scotts Green 20VT from about 2000-2010 and nothing I've had since has put quite the same smile on my face.

I'm not too keen to sell and no TTRS is seeking its parking place. So it stays for now smile

Not strictly for sale ATM but it sits there unused. Still torn between going back to standard (Suspension & body kit removal) and long term storing or selling it. I suppose it could still depart my life if someone were interested.

It's quite sad that it is just locked away in a garage, only taken out for servicing and occasional cleaning frown
