Hi,

I have got for sale a couple of renewed metal keys for FC.

The body of the key is used (since new metal keys are no longer in production and are not available at FIAT store), the blade and transponder (the same type and producer) are new and blank ready to cut/code.

After cutting and coding this key is fully fuctional (you can do it at your local car key specialist / locksmith), opens all locks in the car and starts the engine.

If someone wants (and send me his spare key) I can cut and code the renewed key here in Poland (additional fee for cutting is 5 GBP and about 8 GBP for coding) and send both keys back.

Futhermore, if someone broke his silver key I can replace the blade with a new, blank one.

Price: 50 GBP (for one key), includes delivery to the UK
Name: silver metal key
Compatible with: all FC models
Age: The body of the key is used, the blade and transponder are new and blank.
Condition: The body is in very good shape (as it can be seen in photos below).
Shipping: (UK shipping included in price)

Pictures below:

Are these the same keys you sold me where the blade is to short and falls out but which you didn’t mention when describing the keys?

I think you should give me some of my money back.

Buyers beware...

I've sold so far about 15-20 keys. Only one defect occured in yours. I have immediately offered you that I repair the key at my cost or you send me the key back and I will refund you the whole price. You didn't accept this offer and didn't tell what you going to do. It was a month ago. I can paste here our private converstation, no problem.

Why dont you just tell poeple what they should expect....

...its not a genuine key blade its a third party replacement that is shorter then the original and has to be glued in to stop it falling out.

Maybe if you had sold it like that I wouldn't be so pissed.

Daniel,

First - The blade doesn't have to be glued and does not fall off. You obviously used force to dismantle the key. Maybe in your copy was a defect but I offered you that I repair the key on my cost or I refund you the whole payment - you have not told what you were going to do with this - repair by yourself or return me the key to repair it or get the whole refund.

Second - the blade replacement is new and dedicated to FIAT Coupe and other FIAT's models from those years (Barchetta, Punto, Bravo and etc.)

Even if the inner part of the blade is not excacly as same as in the original it does not matter because I fit it solid (without using the glue because that is not necessary), open all locks in the car and etc.

Obviously, if you want the original blade please call FIAT factory to restart production of the unique blades for the car which production was terminated almost 20 years ago. And please bear in mind that the blade of the silver key (made only for FC - both silver key and the blade are unique to FC) was never sold separately. I wish you success and please let me know what the respond from FIAT will be.

So If you have lost your silver key or never had one you got couple of options:

a)
search on ebay or other websites for the new, unused original silver key for FC, call all FIAT dealers and warehouses even contact the main in Turin and ask them whether have one for sale, please let me know when you find it - new silver keys are unvailable for sale for long years.

b) but the whole lock set with an used silver key from an used FIAT Coupe and swap them into your car

c) my renewed silver key

d) buy a cheapy blue plastic key for FC or live without the silver key.

I renewed many silver keys (I'm using such a key in my Coupe for three years and also in FIAT Barchetta I also own) and no one has complained about any possible defects in keys apart from you.

I'm not angry at you but what is really pissing me off is that immediately you have made a complaint about the key(June or July) I offered you that I would repair the key at my cost or get you the whole refund (you send me the key back) and since that time you have not told anything what you going to with the key (whether repair, use or return) and now you are making the noise and mess that you are very pissed off. As I told if you want I can paste here our entire private conversation from the beginning to the end and everyone here will see.

Cheers

Lukasz
