Engine and model:fiat coupe 20vt
Mileage: 70,000
Body colour: Steel Grey
Interior colour and material: full black leather
Manufactured in:1999
Number of previous owners:5
Known technical issues: Air con doesn't work
General condition in and out:Good
Modifications:Totally standard

I became the proud owner of my 20vt in November of 2017. I bought it from an old gentlemen in an affluent area of Morpeth, Northumberland. The owner previous to him was his son so the car has been in the same family for a number of years. Car still has original bill of sale, all three keys, many if not all previous mots, a fiat service record with plenty of stamps in the book and receipts for thousands of pounds. Before viewing this coupe I had already been to see three or four and although looking good cosmetically the underside of the vehicles were all rotten! However on viewing my coupe although the alloys obviously needed a referb and the wheel arch lips were starting to bubble the underside of the vehicle was in EXCELLENT condition so I knew that structurally the car was sound. The interior of the car was immaculate. After purchasing the car I put it straight into storage until after the winter months. In May I got the car back out and started to sort some mechanical issues. In the space of 4 months I have done the following....

Full service including filters and plugs
2 new front coil springs
Mtec front brake discs
Brembo front brake pads
Cam shaft gasket
Pro alloy coolant hose of death
Maf sensor
Trackrod end

The car has also benefited from a new battery, genuine fiat exhaust rear section and a clutch slave cylinder just prior to me purchasing.

My coupe has wanted for nothing at all. During ownership I had always thought that the car wasn't boosting correctly however I bought the car as an investment so it has never been driven hard. However after a true fiat coupe enthusiast drove the car he suggested that the electronic boost controller was at fault and so I purchased an rspec bleed valve!WOW what a difference that made (1.1 bar of pressure set in 5th gear)!however grandad slippers were soon back on but I am glad it is now running correctly.

The reason for sale is a business opportunity.

The only flaws this coupe has are the wheel arch lips and the alloys! I have had a quote for these jobs to be professionally done and it came to a total of £450, I have considered this when valuing the car.

Any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
