Car's in at the local garage at the moment and they are unable to source the correct sensor. I recall from the dim and distant that there's a 3 and 4 prong version confused Anyway they've had a couple delivered and none of them fit so can anyone link me to one that will definitely do the job please smile They've tried the local Fiat dealer as a last resort and not surprisingly were told "out of production mate"..

It looks as though the "old" connector was a small rectangular 2 pin shape with an extra single pin round connector, and it was changed to a single rounded rectangular 3 pin connector, so make sure you get the correct type.

OE part numbers are 7619303 before the change and 7785973 after, use these to find the part, cost around £20-25 and upwards it seems.

PS: get one with the correct connector, don't get the "universal" type where you have make the connector up yourself, or try to join the wires into the existing cables, the wire from the lambda sensor are very tough to cut and solder.


After posting recalled this recent discussion and having spoken to the garage they have confirmed that it's the 3 pin job so should this do the trick (as posted in the same thread):
