Low miles, Low owners.

I don't know how long MoT's have been "electronic" but according to https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ there's absolutely no MoT history and the first MoT is still due so it's been off the road a very long time...(no tax and not SORN-ed either) Date of manufacture 18 May 95, probably first registered 1 Aug 95, pictures show last MoT maybe 2002?

I looked at this earlier and decided it was probably a basket case

It has clearly been standing outdoors for a very long time - even if the underneath isn't rusty, just about all of the running gear will be badly corroded

I found myself smiling when I read that the seller thought the car would need very little work to pass a MOT......

Could of been on a private plate and original put back on at some time..

First registered 15th February 1996. As DaveG says, due its first MoT.

Just spoken to Owner.

Local Coupe to Highlands only. 1st Owner purchased in Inverness. 2nd Owner purchased in Inverness, before moving to Thurso till unable to drive anymore hence mileage low and had private plate on. Present 3rd Owner purchased from 2nd Owner, to convert into a rally cross car, but has realised its very good under the skin once on ramps. Its runs and drives fine despite what it looks like. 2nd Owner parked up in a barn and not used since 2005. Has had a basic service. Obviously belts not done. Interior advised as very good. Has keys and 1st and 2nd Owners history etc etc.
