http://www.cpop.co.uk/ The first ever Pageant of Power show was last year and although I couldn't make it, I know others that did and it's supposed to be an extremely good weekend. There are very limited car club stands there, but I'm hoping to get us on there I've emailed the organiser and we may be able to get a stand if we're quick. Now, I need to ring them up to confirm some details, but it looks like I've managed to reserve us 20 free tickets. I don't know if this is for 20 people or 20 cars, but thought I'd get the thread up on here first and see who's interested. It's quite a big event with a lot of things going on and maybe next year, when I know how the event works, I could sort out some more things, but for now, let's try and get the club in there Interested: Saturday 18th July 20091. Theresa 2. TrevM 3. Taffy? 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Sunday 19th July 20091. Theresa 2. TrevM 3. Taffy? 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.

You know I lived in Chester and surrounding area until my early 20's and I've never heard of this place! Might be worth a visit then, especially as I'm getting my door and bonnet resprayed in the next couple of weeks as a "get by for now" fix!

Gareth Will put you down for 2 tickets, as I think kids are free. Will have to check that one out too. As for dogs, doesn't seem they are allowed I'm afraid. Taken from their website: The Pageant of Power is classed as a motor racing event and due to the safety of participants and the general public unfortunately we regret that all animals (except guide dogs) are not allowed into the main site.

Right, I've been emailing the organiser and tried ringing, to try and clarify who has to pay. Didn't seem to be getting a straight answer at first, as one email said per car, so I had to check whether that included the occupants or not. Between my working hours and trying to get in touch with them, I still haven't managed to speak to anyone properly, but this is the email I had today: The free ticket is only for the driver of each car on the pitch. The passengers have to pay, I need the name and vehicle reg of each car on the stand in return the tickets will be issued back you to for you to distribute to the car owners. I hope this is clear. If not ring me later.
RegardsUnfortunately, ringing at 1.30 am is not an option So it seems that the free ticket is only for the driver, NOT for passengers I need to clarify about kids, as their website says it's free for kids, as long as the other tickets are booked in advance. The deadline for car clubs had already passed before I became Club rep and started trying to sort this, so after some grovelling to the organisers, I've been given until the 27th May to get this sorted. Anyone who still wants to come, let me know, but I appreciate that some may back out, due to passenger costs, although it does seem a good day/weekend for the money Sorry for the long post, but I'd rather keep things upfront and updated, as I find out myself Anyone still interested, you've read what the email says - I need full names and registration numbers please. Post on here or PM me Cheers (is there a pheewww, that was hard work smilie)

Put me down for the Sunday only (unfortunately the Saturday is my brother's 30th), however I think I may be fccuked by this rule: unfortunately we regret that all animals (except guide dogs) are not allowed into the main site.
Will bring other half (whether she likes it or not) no worries about paying passenger costs, looks like a good day out I'll PM you my full name and reg number T.

Post on here or PM me Cheers (is there a pheewww, that was hard work smilie) Saturday 18th July 2009 1. Theresa (Details known. No payment needed)2. TrevM + 1 3. Taffy + Liz 4. porkypaul + little one (Details received - thanks. No payment needed)5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Sunday 19th July 2009 1. Theresa (Details known. No payment needed)2. TrevM +1 3. Taffy + Liz 4. MattM + Woman 5. porkypaul + little one (Details received - thanks. No payment needed)6. Spee + Better Half + Little one 7. AdamGT + 1 (Details received - thanks) 8. Lucifer + 1 (Details received - thanks) 9. 10. Right ok. First - kids tickets are free, as long as I book them in advance, along with our tickets, so if you haven't already stated, let me know if a child is coming with you to this. Second - drivers tickets are free. These are good tickets, which are Paddock Enclosure tickets. You will be allowed access to the paddocks, pits and the drivers, etc. Third - Unfortunately, passengers have to pay. Now there is a basic park entry fee, but obviously those coming with the driver will want the same Paddock Enclosure tickets, in order to be with them. These tickets are £25 a day or £40 for the two days. It seems expensive, but I think they'll be worth it. For a Coupe owner/driver and a passenger and a kid or two, then £25 for a day of fun and entertainment isn't bad This needs to be sorted asap, before 27th May 2009. I've been lucky enough to be given consideration for this so far, as all other entries/registrations, etc have already been received by the organisers. For payments, please pay the Club, via bank transfer. Details: LloydsTSB Aldershot branch Sort Code 30-90-09 Account 03096971
