I'm afraid I'll be missing this one as well, still waiting to get the Monaro looked at - it's going to Monkfish at the end of April, and I just can't risk a long run out in it when it's not 100%.

It'll be back by the next one though, so I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone again

had another incident today, cleaning a little under the bonnet and then couldn't get her to start. must somehow have got some fluid within 12" of some electrics or something - got her going 4 hours later

I'd like to come to this meet and show off my car, time off work permitting. This will be my first one. What do I need to do?

The only thing you need to do is turn up mate.

whats the overall cost?
do all the fiat coupes have their own parking area?
is their anything specific i need to bring?
any other relevent advice?

whats the overall cost? - £10,000 in petrol depending on how far you're travelling, otherwise it's free...though I think they now make you pay a couple of bucks to park
do all the fiat coupes have their own parking area? - They usually put all the Coupés together, yes..but we tend to meet up at the pub car park first and go in via convoy
is their anything specific i need to bring? - Just yourself and a sense of humour

That said, I'm getting in desperate need of a tunnel run. As soon as my car's done we seriously need to sort something

Yeah been thinking of a tunnel run and nice drive up the moors when should your car be back?

Well it's booked in on 24th April and I'm collecting it on 1st May, but that depends on what's up with it. If it does end up being a knackered piston then it could be longer than that. Fingers crossed it isn't though.

So some time mid-May would be great, weather should (hopefully) be okay so we could get a decent convoy going and tie it in to a good day out. Loads of places we could drive off to, depending on what people want to do.

And this time I'll be getting my other half to video the tunnel run, as I now have the facilities to finally record some decent quality sound

Mid may sounds like a plan then possible we could go to Buxton or somewhere?

Yeh that would be cool, will need to watch out for clashing with other events but May sounds good to me.

Buxton would be an option, or how about one of the May bank holidays heading over to Matlock and checking out all the motorbikes? A convoy of Coupés (and an Aussie sitting at the back!) would certainly attract some attention if the weather is good and there's loads of people about, which is usually the case there when you get a decent bank holiday

Might struggle for parking but it's a great idea.

might struggle for parking??? possibly understatement of the year, but i'd be up for mid-may too, 15th/16th may preferred as no kids to tie up and batter consider

I think that'll be the best weekend for me as well stag do the following weekend.
