I would ideally like to find an aerosol of Porto Blue paint that I can paint a new grill with. Are they readily available?

If you can't buy one in Halfrauds, a paint supplier can mix and supply aerosols of colour matched paint at around £10 a go.

Thanks for the info. Can you be more specific than "a paint supplier".

Google 'car paint supplier shrewsbury'

Best bet, Halfords - they will ask for details off your V5 to get a good match though.

Cheers TimC, I'll try Halfords as it is handy, although Skinflint suggests they can't help!?

Your local hair dressers probably have a stash out back tongue

Other than that you could try 'Fiat' shocked or Halfrauds smile

I'm not suggesting Halfords can't help, but I guess you can tell by my name that Halfords = Needless Financial pain.

To suggest one place, automotive paint supplies in Newbury did a fantastic job of matching the red on my Alfa. I let them have a part of the car and they matched it by the paint code, then improved it by eye, but I'd imagine there's a good one in every town.

Surely you will get a better result from a company that is mixing paint for the trade all day every day.

Look up hugs paint (Ebay) or Nu Again in bedford . I have a porto (sorry not gay or run a hair salon) . Matched my paint as good as it gets. just give them the fiat code and they will mix the can for you. remember if your spraying plastic you need an etch primer for plastic. it will peel like a good ginger in the sun otherwise. Clear coat on top you can get anywhere. If it looks like a dull orange after your efforts rub down with 1500 grit and polish with cutting compound to get the salon look.
Remember "because your worth it !"
