Who is staying at Ashford on the Thurs night before the ferry trip on the Friday?

Just thinking as I'm a local, I might be able to swing past and say hi! smile I expect those of you who are staying at the travel lodge will be in the local Beefeater pub that evening?

Do you think my Halon fire extinguisher might get frowned on? laugh

Seriously, think I've got everything on that list other than the spare bulb kit which appears to be number 8 at Halfords!

Accomodation - €30 in total.
Spends - €75 per day.
Purchases - If something particularly takes me I'll buy it, but I can't see much happening on that score.

Just a quick question for everyone - do you reckon my 3 year old brake pads and discs will be ok for the weekend taking into account the tracktime? There still appears to be plenty of life in them.

I was going to get involved with the groupbuys for EBC pads and discs but was planning on waiting a month or two (it's been a tough month with tax, service and MOT laugh ). Thinking maybe I should bring them forward a bit.

Me and my mate are planning on driving down to Monaco through the alps after too.........

What insurance companies are people considering for the Spa track activities. How much does this look like it will cost?

To any one looking to buy euro's watch out as there is a 1.5% (give or take i cant recall the exact number) when using a debit/bank card.
We ended up changing cash as it worked out we were going to loose a lot of money

I went to 5+ places including the post office and was advised if I wanted to change money using a current account and debit card, it was going to cost me sick

Im looking for info on-line but can find none, Maybe its different online, but on the highstreet I promise you will be changed with a debit card

The main news is that I have just received the tickets from the organisers.

Those that need to be posted out will be going out today and tomorrow.

You will see that the tickets cover admission to the circuit, we will need to go to the secretariat on track to collect stickers and sign paperwork for the track sessions.
