I live 10 mins away from Cobham, but dont really know anybody who is going yet.

Well I chose this pub, knowing it has a huge garden and I was planning on bringing the dog, however the weather forecast now for Thursday is rain, rain and some more rain. So with this in mind, I doubt I will bring the dog. So I wonder whether we should go back to the pub we went to last time, The Bear in Esher, as it does good food, good beer, and is a reaonable pub! As opposed to the Fairmile, which seems a but ropey based on reviews.

Where's the best place to park near The Bear?

There's a car park just round the corner from it. Its free at that time of night. Go past the Bear with the Bear on your left, take the left hand lane at the lights, and then directly after the turn on your diagonal right, is the car park entrance

So you can't see the cars from the pub then?
