was good turn out meeting some of you me and the misses enjoyrd apart from the parking issus and to be honest food was bid on the down side and some conplaned about the price of drinks must admit were bit steep, mayb next time we should do the fairmile in chobham 5min up the road from the bear as there is loads of parking and good food and prices for drink not to bad

We decided to go through London to get home, then almost ran out of fuel!!! just managed to limp to Stansted 24hrs place. Eventually arrived home at 01:40

It was nice to catch up with old friends and also meet and speak to some new peeps. Bit of a shame some of the local folks didn't turn up, I really wanted to meet Lincs too

As for the venue.... Food was not a patch on when we were last there, indeed to call it poor would be too kind! As for the drinks, if you think £15 for a beer, glass of wine and a coke is acceptable then no, they were fine

Nice to meet old faces and new. That must have been technics in the silver car cruising around !
Shame it was dark and wet and not conducive to tyre kicking etc.

The Bear has always been expensive, but as Bockers (I think) once commented, the eye candy lets you feel better about the prices (and if MrsBockers reads this, it wasn't John I was mistaken )

So,

Apart from the location, the parking, the food, the drinks, people dropping out including the organiser, others not finding us...

It was a roaring success

As for the Bear, its always been pricey, anywhere in Esher is.
The Hand & Spear in Weybridge is very good for parking, food, really nice inside and outside(beer garden) and prices are, to be honest..........similar to Esher.
But its pretty good for everything else.

There will be a few of us at Dunsfold, near Guildford, on Monday, unfortunately it is too late to get your car in the club area, but we will be around.
