You dont need a gtec2 with your mods, too agressive and high fuelling!

They are for Hybrid setups etc...

Your mods should see around 245-250bhp providing the engines healthy..

i would say expect 250ish BHP

before you change the chip, have a look at your fueling with the gtec 2 and see if its ok, if it does over fuel then change it!

Powerflow exhaust with 200 cell Race Cat, NGK Iridium Plugs, cone K&N filter - with Flea's mapping and custom chip made 271bhp, 278lb/ft.

A GTEC 2 will probably cause problems without further mods.

Kills me how much its cost me to get to the 300bhp mark in my LCR,

It also costs lots to get the VAG 1.8t to 270bhp - The fiat coop 20vt is So tunable! at zero money!!!

Flea map is only way over 250 with that setup!
unless you want to go to a optimistic rolling road that will be nice and say over 250 but unless the car is a freak you will be kidding yourself.
Go see flea if you ask me!

Well based on my set up in my strapline, I'm going to say 255bhp.

Headline figures aren't the real story though; I'm sure you already know about Flea's talent to transform the "feel" of a mildly modded coupé. thumb

The answer is there is absolutely no way of telling until you get it on the rollers.

Ditch the Gtec 2 as others have stated - it's not right for the mods that you have.

Stick to 17 psi - anymore and you wont get more out of the stock turbo, it will just wear out faster.

Anywhere between 240 and 260 bhp at the fly depending on the rolling road, it's configuration, and how they calculate the fly figure etc.... the main reason for getting the car on the rollers is to check that it is fueling right.

Whatever figure you get, its important that you are happy with the performance and handling.

Moving up towards 300-350bhp is 'extremely' expensive and suspension/braking changes are a must.

Dyno's also read differently, so one RR place may read as much as 30bhp different, to another one. Stick to the same dyno as much as you can before and after and mods.

NB - it's not just the dyno, but how it is set up for the run as well, tyre pressures etc. i would certainly agree that 30-40 bhp difference is commonplace.
