Ill be getting on the M20 at Folkestone, so ill be going past Leeds castle about 30-40 mins into the journey.

Just wondered if we could get a few of us to meet at a junction then convoy up there if everyone is up for it

Suggest the Maidstone services on the M20 (although don't need petrol there - it is expensive!). We can organise a time nearer the date. Just going out to work on the engine bay.......

If the Maidstone convoy crew are taking the M25 then how about thinking about a quick pitstop at the M25 services Clacket Lane to allow for some other stragglers to join this convoy? Last year we managed to get about 5 start from here.

I don't know what sort of time you were due to leave Maidstone area, but to hit the 8.30am gates opening at Brooklands then you'd need to be leaving Clackets by 8.00am sharp (www.viamichelin.co.uk reckons 31mins to do the 46km). Leaving any later risks getting consigned to the mercedes world parking compound.

If people are interested then suggest: Clacket Lane Services M25 motorway (between Junctions 5 & 6 Westbound /southern side). Postcode: TN16 2ER. Meeting at the fuel station parking area (the natural home of a Fiat Coupe) as opposed to the service area car park. But leaving Clackets at 8.00am sharp.

...then onto Brooklands M25 to jnct 10; A3; A245 KT13 0QN
(fast track entry for ticket holders via the Campbell Entrance off Brooklands Road (B374) by the JTI Members Hill office block).

I would guess that the timings would be Notcutts garden centre (the M20 services at Leeds Castle would be easier as it is less far off the M20) by 7.00, and Clacketts by 7.45 latest. A little leeway has been allowed !

To be sure make sure you have fuelled up before (£1.43/litre off) !

I was coming from Folkestone but im gonna be coming up the M23, then M25. So is there any chance of meeting you guys on the way? If not, I'll leave earlier to backtrack to clacket lane and meet you all there at 07:30

Im up for the 7:30 meet up at notcutts. May also have a mate in a gtv or he will pick us up on route.

I'll be coming from either Deal or Margate but from experience I'll leave it a little later so I doubt I'll be at Notcutts for 7.30.

My plan is LEAVE Notcutts at 7.30, bump into anyone ( ) at Clacketts Lane for a very quick pit-stop (unlike Jenson Button's in China) and try to get to Brooklands by 8.30. Leave Clacketts at 8.00 latest?

I will stick a couple of fold up chairs in boot, probably pick up some cold drinks from the garage, bring along some cameras and a video cam. Will probably be on my own as wife and kids are off to the Southend Flower show.....

Oh and I need to pay on the door, (I admit it I was in two minds about going).
