I'll probably come along for a few hours one day but cant do the full weekend.

I'll be going down to see the minis and beetles ragging it down the track, I've not seen any coupes down there before will have mine on the track if its running ok:)

The only thing that concerns me on these strips is you pay £100 for unlimited runs yet on some events your lucky if you get 4 in the day.

york you get loads of runs normaly about 10-15 a day aslong as its a dry day

I paid £25 at pod last week and got 5 runs in 2 hours, could have done alot more, and the £100 is for 2 days camping for 2 and 2 days unlimited drag runs i believe...

Seemed to be a lot down from the north-east. Not sure if the white Nova hatchback was with your lot but I was impressed .

Watched the green Coop a few times, think a 14.4 was the best it did but might be wrong.

As we were going there was a V-plate Inky lined up, another S-plate one parked up didn't do a run today, maybe had its fun yesterday.

Good weather, decent turn-out. Loved some of the yank stuff and that jet was just mad - think it took out a few sets of eardrums .

Has the drag strip been resurfaced up there?

Was a class weekend, the green coupe was mine managed a 14.00 yesterday last run against a time attack skyline was running consecutive 14.2s on sunday so well pleased. The parked up coupe was with me but clutch slave cylinder went so 1 run @ 15.8s, a red le ran twice sunday putting in a 13.9s run and the v reg inky had over 390bhp running what he said was a large turbo custom front mount and a 6th injector into throttle body but blew the inlet plenum off the block on both runs

Nice one - was gonna come and say hello but you seemed pretty busy with your rear box at the time so will have to wait til next time. Wear the England shirt again so I don't get confused

Was with a lad who was trying out his RX7 for the first time. After a Pulsar it was a different ball game at the start but he got six runs and was happy as all his times were around the 13 and a half second mark.

Might head over there again on Monday with the TVR boys - but work's getting in the way at the moment.

Oh, and didn't look like it had been resurfaced Matt. The track in is still a suspension and alloy killer too.

It was me in the v-plate inky, I spent most of the time fixing my car but managed to get 4 runs in after dropping the boost down, got three at 13.5 and a 13.7

Think i'll be going back on sunday for another go

With 390bhp you really should be hitting high 12's.

Sorry roly some idiot stood on me backbox and bent all the hanger so i had to re attach it using a well bent tent peg lol, was impressed with your inky sherlock sounded mint down the strip glad you got sorted and got some good runs

The first 2 runs I did the doughnuts on the inlet manifold blew off so I had to run at 1.1 bar rather than 1.5bar of boost.
I did a 13.2@112mph last year on road tyres, i've now got some decent tyres and getting some better 60ft times with them so should be able to get a 12 sec run on full boost
