... my 13 year old coop with 94k on the clock passed its MOT first time. Last year it didn't and I've not done a huge amount on maintenance on it but it sailed through! Going to see what advisories its got when I pick it up on the way home from work! Wooo!

Lets hope the MOT tester wasnt asleep at the time, im yet to see worn parts fix themselves
I always suggest NOT to rely on an MOT testers pass certificate that your car is in good shape, i see them pass reguarly with rotten brake pipes, which are not even commented on during the MOT, and clearly noticeable.
Don't worry I'm not going to rest on my laurels. They did seem to do a reasonable job though, it feels as though they tightened up my brakes, they feel much more responsive than when it went in!
