Hello all
Our fiat coupe club in France has organised an event in August the 13th. We have the complete race circuit for us all, for one full day. You can fully race the entire day at a bargain price.
Camping and meals are also organised.
Everything is available (sorry in french but if you are interested I will take care of translating and assisting you) on our website on the index page.

The track is indeed challenging, and what is good is that we have the track for us only, so this is less stressing for a first time. And in case of any problem with the fiat, there is many fiat pilots around to help, which counts!
cost wise, 150 euros for a full day racing, I guess this is quite cheap, isn't it?

Here is a link to the circuit. http://www.charade.fr/ There is a campsite local to the circuit and the majority of the French lad's will be staying there. Its great fun and alot of the guy's speak English. Dinner is sorted in the evening at the camsite each night. A great chance to drive a challenging circuit that makes you tingle every time you time you think about it. Highly recomended.

I have just received an email from the French club to let me know that the event has had to be cancelled.
This is due to the track owners not being able to guarantee that tha circuit will be operational by that date due to track upgrades.
If anyone here has paid to take part they will be reimbursed by the French club.

thank you very much for your message. Yes of course I can be contacted in case of someone has to be reimbursed (boba@fiatcoupe.fr).
This is terrible news for us to have to cancel 3 weeks before the event. Obviously this has generated lot of efforts from our club, anyway this is life, let us think about our next event for 2012!
BTW, why is it that there is not so much collaboration between our 2 clubs? Why don't we try to organize something in common for next year? Should it be in the north of France, closer to the UK! Cheers
