Hi all sorry if there is allready a thread on this or they are a known regular but do the meets at Cosford still happen ?

It's funny I've currently been based at RAF Cosford the last nine months and have never seen another coupe knocking around locally lol madness. laugh

Or has it moved elsewhere locally ? It would be nice to pop along in the future and meet some of the community. smile

Thanks Brad

Apparently the format has changed recently and you have to book now. Only a certain amount of car clubs and you can only go to 2 events in the year I think?

Paul usually organises this one, he might be along to let us know if anything is planned?

There should be one at the end of the month BUT I think there have been a few problems.

The next one is Sunday September 25th... And it will require some one here taking up the slack with the organisation as clubs and cars need to be booked now AND there is still a parking charge. In honestly I can see this one fading in to nothing.

The Cosford meets have been fading away slowly for some time now

the cosford meets were very good even though not massively attended by club members. there was always a hard core of 7 or 8 of us, supplemented by others at times, and we had a laugh, bacon sarnie and a good look around.

shame these have fell by the wayside but there are reasons for it - we did have a couple of belting midland peak meets and hopefully in 2012 we'll have a few more of these. just need porkypaul to get out of bed occasionally ad organise something, the gwar.... laugh

I've tried too book Cosford but I've been told there's too many other cars going so sod them.

I'll be organising a nice peak run soon.

I think the last meet the Coupes attended at Cosford saw just three of us there frown

Me, MCMike and Gilbo.

I used to enjoy going to them when I could - a nice way to spend a Sunday morning cool
