I've got the big Alfa brakes on mine and struggling to find the OMP pads for it. I know they exist as the guys on the Alfa forum was talking about it.

Can anyone tell me what the OMP part number is for these?

I'm fairly certain it's these, but don't want to buy another wrong set!

The GTA forum has these part numbers
[quote]For what it's worth, the part numbers are below (note the Pagid is a fit number, not a real part number, you can get the various compounds under this overall number):

Brembo OEM: MR407376
Ferodo DS2500: FCP1334
Pagid: E2487

Cheers Jimbo.

That link didn't seem to take me to any brake pads. Also, the Pagid's are pretty expensive I take it. If I had to spend that kind of money, I'd rather buy the Ferodo's. At this point, I have to get something a bit less expensive, so I'll go with the OMP's I think.

I'm sorry, you might actually have to click on a few things all on your own to make the link work, I didn't realise you wanted that doing for you too wink

Seems an odd concept to fit updated calipers and a larger disc, then opt for inferior friction parts, the most important part of the braking system? But if it's just the look you're going for then I guess it's not that important.

Where does it say that if you have bigger brakes you have to fit the most expensive pads?

You could always buy me some Pagids if you're so worried about me stopping in time. wink

I've spent thousands on this car and I've not had it a year before you accuse me of cutting corners.

Anyway, my original question was about the OMP pads.

Anyone else but happy Jimbo?

It doesn't, you're right but it just seems to go against what you are trying to achieve by fitting larger calipers?

Sorry if you think my questioning is me being unhappy.

That OMP drawing is the correct pad for the 330mm alfa GTA/GT calipers.

Well, I've just been to my local motor spares place and they say they have the Ferodo's for £29.

I said he must be mistaken as the Ferodo's on my car were over £150, but he showed me a picture and says it's right.

Will see tomorrow when he gets them in!

They'll probably be standard spec Ferodo pads at that price, not the fancy DS ones.

i agree, you wont get DS series pads for £29. They'll be regular spec Ferodo's, no better than mintex or equivalent pads.

I thought Ferodo's were good none the less.

Oh well, no harm in trying them out at that price!

Well, why don't you and Jimbo start a trust fund to buy some nice expensive pads for me? wink

On a serious note, I think you lot have deterred me from buying the cheap pads.

What are the EBC Yellow and Red Stuff pads like?

hmm no thanks how about you donate your 330 kit to the car it should be on instead? wink

I have red stuffs and there OK. Better than OEM/cheap pads but not a good as some more expensive pads.
