Simon, extreme were offering the same, but you would have paid more for fuel.

Only place you could use would be falkland performance, where I set my engine bay on fire.

For any cars that have been (will be) mapped by me you won't need your fueling checked, but anyone else I don't mind checking fueling for a small fee!

Sparkyman told me it'd be the perfect time to get some mods bolted on and fuelling checked. rolleyes smile Will let him off though since he kindly lent me an intercooler for a while. Nothing like setting a challenge. What sort of fee are we looking at Flea? Unfortunately I just don't have the money for a remap just now. Hadn't even planned on modifying it yet.

Lads at first i was a bit taken aback by the price hike but once I thought about it the price change really is offset by the reduction in travel and the best bit - it's right beside a Burger King!

Pretty gutted we aint goes to extreme was there last year and they were fantastic... 2 good power runs and a good talk with you after looking at the graph showing boost, torque, fueling etc. Wasnt just a RR, it was an actual dyno cell.

I suppose hillington should be roughly the same...? not dashfixer though is it?? Heard some stories they are basically.. get the cars through as fast as possible.

Either way i'm still up for this laugh

Would a date shift to the following Sunday be better and then try get Extreme?

Means the mapping isn't tying up with the RR but that's not the end of the world?

You guys let me know, your day I'm just the bitch on the phone laugh

Simon, I can only apoligise, I thought this would be done.

When I went to Wallace Performance three time plus a trip too Ava,they all checked the fueling on my car, I thought thats how it works frown

Well since Simon and Rab have bought in another 4 cars,so in total 6, which was good of them, think it would be only fair that's it's on a Sunday.

£50 is dear for that number of peeps, but on the other hand you will save that on fuel, plus when someone breaks down it's not that far away wink

It's a pitty Wallace are so far away as Matty up there is really good with advice, he uesd to be on here and had a 400bhp coupe before he moved to the evo taxi tongue

Kenny thanks for trying to pull this all together, you're a star, be it a very dull small star, still a star wink

So if we went to Extreme it would just be the week after the mapping ? which is'nt a biggy.

chinny

Or ..... have a look and guys take your pick and I can phone for availability.

http://www.rollingroadregister.com/dynos/2wd-rolling-road

Plus there is also Hypertech just up past Cumbernauld.
Can we all do the following week if we had to or does that push others out?

Just let me know the preference and I will push to get it organised.

If I may interrupt...

I think leaving it 23rd Oct is the best idea. Flea will still be there, to advise with regards to people's maps.

Dashfixer is local, although more expensive for the run, no-one will be anymore out of pocket for the actual day itself.

I've personally used dashfixer before. The facilities were good, its a Dastek £100k set of rollers and its in an industrial estate, so no hassle. Extreme weren't checking the fuelling for the price they offered, so no difference there.

I've been watching this, but I'm happy to get my car run this day at Dashfixer. Can everyone else confirm if they are able to make it? We only need 10 for this day also.

Dashfixer - 23rd Oct - £50

Just to add, I will be flying back at 4pm, so will have up to around 1.30-2pm on the Sunday before I need to leave for the airport. I'm happy to check the non-mapped cars i.e. AFRs, ECU diagnostics, for a one-off special price of £15! This doesn't have to be on the dyno, I can do this on the road if required.

It would be good to be there when the cars are on the dyno, I know there will be many questions to answer which saves on the emails after!

That's a good offer, as its an on the road AFR check.

Dashfixer is near the airport also Flea.

Flea's offer is certainly worth a trip anyway. £50 is a fair way towards the remap fund though. Will go with the flow as long as it's a Sunday. Need to wait and see what numbers are like as I have a feeling there'll be quite a few drop outs

I appreciate that £50 seems alot more however we'd all be a fair few quid in fuel doing the 60+ round trip. So it real terms it's prob only £5 more and by by accounts it is a better facility.

Plus did I mention it's near Burger King?

lol yip I'm good with that, I think we'll need to firm this up by Friday as they said they would need confirmation/deposit by end of the week as in booking terms it's short notice apparently.
