I'm doing this mod on wednesday and need some advice. I've done it before with 'brushed ali' look 3M but it was a massive fail.

Look at the how to but not clear if it is possible to wrap the recess to the radio. I'm sure it will involve cutting a slit and folsing in.

I've painted the recess black incase it can't be wrapped but any tips would be great.

when i did mine i cut a line across at the top of the radio recess and fold the flap in on the bottom as you cant really see the inside top of the radio recess when fitted in the car

Don't know the 3M but a local bodyshop I was visiting to get a quote on dent removal was wrapping some bumper with a recess and they just cut a holein the wrap, used a heatgun to get it all stretchy and then jammed some foamy pads in the recess to put pressure from the inside. Took it out after 15 minutes when I was walking out and it was great.
