Had to work late tonight, so I made sure I stretched the LE's legs on the way home and boy it did not disappoint. It was absolutely flying tonight, every time I floored it the car lunged forward at an awesome rate producing a big big grin factor! The mixture of a high powered turbo car, in dense cold air and supping some of Tesco's finest 99 makes for a top drive.

I've been taking it a bit easy as my PRV normally boosts to 1.1Bar(1.2 overbost) and notice in last few mornings when its been -1 to -5 that its boosting to 1.2Bar with 1.4 overboost.

*BANG*

Can't wait to have a spin in mine. My projects on hold until I've finished insulating my garage as its to cold to work in there.

Mine,

locks then unlocks, locks then unlocks, locks then unlocks, locks then unlocks, locks then unlocks,

Thats after spraying silicone spray into all locks. It last 3 days but did go down to -4 last night.

Well, I guess we're lucky down here. Today we've had a sunny, but cold day (by our standards, of course smile ): max. 13ºC, min. 2ºC, generally speaking... Not exactly enough for snowman, but chilly enough for me.

The Coupe can (and does) go out day in, day in. wink

Regards!
CJ

Drove mine for the first time this week today. Took the handbrake off last night and rocked the car backwards and forwards a few times to free it off, got in this morning with no frozen locks, started first time, pulled really hard all the way to the Shell garage for some V-Power and even let me open the filler cap without a fight!

It must be looking forward to a bit of a blast this afternoon and i suspect it's good behaviour will be rewarded!

Well i took the coupe out this morning. -8 and sunny, bone dry roads with nobody on them.
The cold air was fantastic for the car. Very enjoyable.
Now its back in the garage sitting on its carpet and covered up.
