...parked the Plus outside the front of the showroom while I popped in to order a brake pipe for a Seicento. While I was propping up the parts counter waiting for someone to realise I was there two young ish chaps in the showroom (one a salesman the other looked like an odd-job lad) struck up in conversation while looking at the Coop -

Odd-Job: "why don't Fiat make anything like that anymore, it's stunning and we'd sell SO many?"

Salesman: "because it's all about economy & emissions nowadays"

Odd-Job: "yeah but look at that, it looks fast standing still. Very tidy too"

Salesman: "they're flippin' quick too, but that's a problem as most of our customers would kill themselves in 5 minutes in one of those"

Moments like that make me proud to own the car and walk casually back to it, get in, press the start button and drive off at *slightly* increased revs smile
