Im going to be putting a GT2860RS with a 0.64AR turbine housing, the one user-nigel is selling on here

a few questions

It definately needs a fmic?
Sip?
what would you do to compliment this package with,
and what other bits am i definately going to need?
its going to be going onto my V-band down pipe, just for less hassle and expense

my coupes been mapped by flea for the standard turbo,
after fitting this new turbo shall i be alright to coast down to bristol for a 2nd remap?
or does it even need another remap? or remote mapping that i have seen going is it thought to be any good,

For sure you will need FMIC, SIP, uprated fuel pump, uprated clutch (the standard one will slip over 300lbft torque) and a remap. In order to get the best out of the turbo you ought to fit a wider exhaust (2.75 or 3") and either a decat or a race cat. Remember that you also need stop as well as go, so it may be worth uprating the brakes/discs too.

Planning to go this way myself soon - good luck and enjoy!

I was having some work done on my Scottie last year by JBT and in my foolishness John talked me into buying the 3Gs and big Brembos he was taking off his monster Coop. To quote Ron Weasley, they are "bloody brilliant" and he has been trying to buy them back off me ever since evil - no chance wink .

They will be fine.....!!

Picture of Scottie taken before these were fitted....

.. maybe. I fitted 7 Iridiums to the Scottie, but JBT just uses cheapo NGKs on his monster and swears by them. He reckons the Iridiums are temperamental rolleyes ! (and don't stop his transmission falling to pieces biglaugh)

Is a fuel pump upgrade required, I thought there was an opinion that the stock pump with a direct live feed was fairly efficient?

Also would a SIP be required ?

The fuel pump mod is fine and will supply enough fuel for the 28RS.

I had one and had no issues.
