So I agreed to buy and put a deposit on a lovely Steel Grey 20VT today. I now have the painful wait until I can collect it in a week or so!
This will be my first coupe and I'm excited at the prospect of owning and running the car.

Cheers guys.
I'm in East Devon, not far from Exeter. The car is in 150 miles away, so yes, a nice drive home.

Excellent, well done - need to get her to a few meets now Hope to, but I'm in the Westcountry and not much goes on locally from what I can see. Oh well, I'll just have to brim the tank with Super and set off a bit earlier.....

Well the new arrival is here and tucked up safe and sound in the garage after an enjoyable trip back to Devon from South Wales. I took it nice and steady for the trip, but couldn't resist a little bit of windows down hoonage through the M4 tunnel at Newport!

pstruck - I enjoyed your comments on the PH thread. Good to see you on here. Like you I was inspired by the thread - just picked up my Coop yesterday.

Thanks for all the warm welcome messages guys. This seems like a great place and I'm sure the huge collective of technical knowledge in going to prove very useful. I'm desperate to get out there to clean, polish and of course drive my new beastie, but I've come down with an illness overnight, which has scuppered my plans for the day!

I've come down with an illness overnight, which has scuppered my plans for the day! It'll be coupé paranoia. There's only one known cure; check your oil 7 times a day. Welcome to the world of coupé ownership
