I'd love an old car with a modern twist.

Stunning to look at and I can only imagine how it would drive.

I agree a set of steelies, perhaps banded slightly to hint at the extra go, would be nice. But I certainly wouldn't turn it down

The BMW unit? My brothers 5 series has a 2.5 straight six with a manual gearbox and it just sounds love on full chat.

One day, If I find the right car, I'd love to graft the 5's running gear under on an old English sports car.

I hope they've made it handle!

Saw a Sunbeam Tiger at Donington totally destroy a field of all-comers (Lotus Exiges, Ferraris etc etc) - it was awesome.

Shame about the (mandatory I guess) bumpers and what's with that hoop round the back of the seats? Adds very little by way of strength to the hoop (unlike a diagonal)
