Let's say I add some spacers to my car and widen the track slightly, say 5mm, will there be any benefit to the handling ?

Most use spacers as a wider track alters the mechanical traction of the cars handling.
Personally i ran spacers on stock rims and cant say i noticed a difference that would warrant £80 for the spacers and £45 for a 4 wheel alignment.
But i did notice bigger wheels make a massive difference to the handling allbeit they make it skittish imo.

I run custom 7mm spacers and handling is spot on. cool
Its all in the setup IMO.
