Parents are visiting Inverness next weekend. Any recommendations for things to see/do or places to eat?

Think they plan to go to the cinema one evening and maybe out walking one day. Whatever they do it'll be at a fairly sedate sort of tempo.......

There used to be a boat trip up to Loch Ness. Very sedate (unless Mr Monster makes an appearance).

Open top bus ride, weather permitting. Eden Court theatre worth a look. Take your pick food wise. There are a number of good eateries. Take a walk through the "islands"

All sedate stuff.. smile

I'm an old git & happy with it,most of the time

A walk around Culloden Battle Field and the lunch at the Culloden Moor Inn or the "Keppoch" as I still call it, the food there is good and the portions are American !

By your command.

Best value & quality restaurant is Rocpool Rendezvous - very central and excellent - easily my favourite. See the website for menu.

It really is deathly quiet on here.
The only time a tried to get to Inverness there was a land slip and the road was closed.
