I attended this event last year and it was a very enjoyable day out.

This years event is being held on Sunday 23rd June 2013 at Castle Combe Race Circuit, more details can be found here:

http://www.bristolmc.org.uk/Pre-event/Grandes_Marques_day.htm

I will be attending again this year and if anybody else is interested then please download the Entry Form and post it off and mention FCCUK in the Name of Club box.

This years format is expected to be similar to that of last year. Last year it was advertised that there would be parade laps around the Castle Combe circuit in the morning and again in the afternoon for those who had registered prior to the event. As it turned out, there were about 5 sessions in total that you could take part in which for £10 was very good value! The sessions were of about 20 cars parading behind a Pace Car with an out lap, a complete lap then an in lap, not going at great speeds but at sensible speeds but was good fun if youve never been around a track before and you could also take passengers too (as long as they were pre registered).

The cost this year remains £10 per car if you want to take part in the parade laps or free if you dont but you will still need to submit an Entry Form.

Anybody looking for a cheap track day with no speed restrictions then this is not for them but I personally found the experience as much as I wanted having never driven around a track before!

I live near Winchester so Castle Combe is not really in my area but my connection is that I am originally from Bath and my sister and brother in law help organise the event. Feel free to PM me or post any further questions you might have!

It was. There were loads of Cobra replicas there as last year was some anniversary of the Cobra and they were the main themed car!
