Has anyone fitted a new dash badge before? I've just bought a new one after damaging the old one trying to get the binnacle out to replace bulbs.
The new badge came with a couple of small retaining clips which go onto the securing "bars" that fit through the holes in the dash. I'm just not sure if I'm supposed to fix these to the back of the dash plate (making it rather tricky to get the plate back into place with the allen key bolt in the middle) or if these clips should be placed into the holes after fitting the dash plate and then push the badge into these once secure?
