I've been after a replacement Plus Grill for my VT6 for a while. Mine has all brackets broken! So it's hanging on with string!! Nearly had one on here for £65 until seller sold to someone else before I had chance to send payment. Anyway found a company on the net selling brand new grills for £100 http://www.shop.autods.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=122Has anyone bought one from them, what's the quality like compared to the original? Or does anyone have one!!

Not sure about the grill but loads of us on here have brought other items from them ( I got my Pui front bumper) and the feed back has always been top notch

The Autods one is made from fibre glass. Why would you need to cut anything of the grill?

The Autods one is made from fibre glass. Why would you need to cut anything of the grill? Is it? Web site says made of GRP, is that the same?

Understood, pity! It may benefit you to go with the fibre glass one as at a guess, would be more suitable to modify/cut. Easier to add to if you needed to construct fixing lugs in a different location using grp such as this as the oem one wouldn't be so easy although, there are glues out there which may work but probably not as reliable as a fibre glass bond. Better still, mail Autods to see if they can cut/modify to your requirements

A hacksaw blade would be ok for straight cuts. You could use a jigsaw with a fine toothed blade. Or a cheap rotary tool (dremmel type) for ease.
If you pm Mariusz here, as he is Mr Autods or contact through his site I'm sure he would trim it to your requirements. Worth asking to save you the trouble.
