Until this morning I had 4 very nice chrome dust caps. Some ***** took them. This must of happened between 7 and 8. These things might only cost a few pounds but theft is theft!

I've given up on the chrome one's, lost four sets in as many months, I now fit the metal matt black ones and they've been on the car for 6 months now without anyone stealing them

Still can't believe someone would take them, they only cost a few pounds.

I have locking dust caps as I had the same problem , been on the car for 3/4 years now

My worry with these is that some scrote tries to nick them, realizes they can't so instead puts a nice key mark along the car as punishment for having the audacity to protect ones dust caps!

Good point, I would rather someone took the caps worth a few pounds instead hundred to repair after it had been keyed.

that's the ones I have , they just spin if you try and undo without the locking tool

which has started me thinking...

Question; do I spend 3.49 on a replacement set or 11.87 for locking ones? This question might keep me awake tonight!

I'd fit some bogo black plastic ones, no-one will notice

answer - your still have the locking caps on the car when you wake up !
