As above, highly modded coop, good power and on the beans it sways/floats around, hard to keep it in a straight line.

Any ideas please?

Thanks.

Tracking would be the first thing to check, along with tyre pressures, but my guess will be rear radius arm bearings

As above, but also check for a broken front spring. Made my old sprint blue feel very vague and floaty until I found out what it was.

How much camber are you running?

Too much camber will make the car pull from side to side under power as the contact patch changes on the front wheels.

Problem like this can be easily located from some who knows what to look for - wishbones, rack and it's balljoints, wheel misalignment, and so on.....just find the right guy for it...

When my wishbones were badly worn it was like the coupe was floating around in the road wink

Wishbone bushes will result in torque steer when you boot it too

I'd go with track control arms. Usual symptoms are the car wandering one way under power and the other when you come off the throttle.
The rear bush is usually the culprit, it wears and allows the whole arm to move enough to literally steer the car one way or the other depending on the torque going through it.

The worst one I saw was on a pug 206 that I picked up cheap due to a "dangerous steering fault"
The track control rear bush was so worn that when you let go of the throttle the car lurched to the left requiring half a turn of the wheel to correct it. Terrifying road test that was.
Back at the workshop believe it or not. The offending bush was on a very recently replaced arm.
Which was why nobody could accurately diagnose it.
Even a big bar didn't reveal the movement.
Only when jacked up and put in fifth and given some beans on and off the throttle could you see the true extent of the failure.
