hello all.

finaly got my 20 VT to replace my broken 16 VT.
few remarks and kincks to work out one of them being that i only have one key. already checked with the previous owner and he doesn't have any spare key either. So my question to you, is it possible to make a second key atleast? having a spare key might be interresting, you knever know when you can loose yours. Is this possible with Fiat or am i looking out outsourcing or am i better of replacing all the keylocks on the car with keylocks that have 3 key's...
thanks in advance for the advice.
Tony

In the UK with a working key, not sure if it has to be the red one or not, you can get a copy made for a few £'s.

A decent key cutting place will be able to make you another key.

You don't need the red one either. My spare was cloned from the silver key smile

will it work? i mean, doesn't the car reconize the key? if i make a clone key from the silver one it won't have the code thingy in it.

The key is cloned including the code so they do work and the car recognises them.

It clones the code thingy too smile so the keys are identical physically and electronically.
