Good power Bekim

may I ask who done the head work?
Its all about the barbz head though, he won't let out his trade secrets but belive me it makes a world of difference in both bhp but more importantly the power delivery

I made it at track n road trappy . Iv got the print out ill dig it out and post it .. If I'm honest for what you pay to get it done it's worth doing for fuel saving but for the extra power it's not worth it . Maybe you notice the difference when you are 450+ .. But hey that's my thoughts on it lol

Big valves does not necessarily mean more power, if anything, it can cause a lose of power. Has the head been tested for flow at various lift etc..? I'm guessing probably not.

Good to see you post on here Bekim smile

A couple of pictures of the dyno results:

click to enlarge click to enlarge

385ps & 324lbs/ft @ 1.45bar

The powerband from our new FC hybrids really is something else with very fast spool, but no drop off with power pulling hard all the way to 7000rpm. There was another Coupe that went on the dyno that day with a GT28RS giving 346ps. The difference in low down torque and top end power is huge though, with the FC hybrid pulling quicker and for longer. Luckily Bekim has access to high octane fuel, as we are running a little leaner towards the top end due to the injectors being maxxed out.

Look forward to the next level of upgrades!

Hi flea.. when you say yiur new turbo spools up "very" quickly, what sort of rpm is it kicking in?..
also can this turbo be put on a stock 20vt engine, only mod being charge cooler and uprated side mounted intercooler, ...

Cheers..clive

On a good free flowing set-up, it will spool 200-300rpm later than standard. So on the road you can expect 1bar in 4th gear around 2600-2700rpm, and 1.4bar by 2900-3000rpm. You can see from Bekim's graph that he is making 400nm+ torque (300lbs/ft+) from 3200rpm all the way to 6700rpm, it is a very wide powerband.

The turbo is a direct fit for replacing the standard turbo, so yes it can go on a stock engine. However, it will need to be tuned and boost limited to ensure everything is kept within optimal parameters for this type of set-up.

This set up must need a front mount inter-cooler and other supporting mods??

What cost including supporting mods/mapping and safe(as far as engines/turbos ever are) BHP can be achieved if this was bought and fitted in one lot?

I have no idea about tuning so would really like to know and I believe so would many others who don't want to collect tuning bits and pieces along the way and still not really have the best accompanying parts.

Okay so you didn't measure the lambda.

Leighton mentioned 1.45 bar. I assume this pressure is at low rpm (3500 rpm).
Do you remember max pressure at 6000 - 6500 rpm?
