Looks a nice specimen I prefer FWD and was shocked when I read some post about a VX driver spinning off the road after a roundabout just by giving it a few too many beans; bit him hard.

Nice colour too. Almost bought one before the Boxster and still have a little hankering for one.
Maybe when I'm done with the porker. :-)

Great choice! Looks mint too. I bought a stage 4 VXT last April and adore it.

I certainly am sir, though I haven't posted there in a long time. Mostly I lurk, monitoring the general discussion threads. Posted the spec for my VX here on one of Shifty's threads: link. All mods by previous owners. A few months ago I took it to Liam at MMG for full service, inspection, fitment of spitfire toe link kit and another remap. I've got the Courtney top hat on mine. I'm certainly no mechanic but figure it's worth mentioning that my connecting intake pipe is slightly damaged; Liam seemed unimpressed with the installation. Hopefully this summer I'll get along to a meet or two. I guess you've already driven a stage 4 but if not you'd be welcome to try mine.

Funnily enough I have been looking at these to maybe buy at the end of this year.
How do they compare to the lotus elise? I.E. specs & cost for parts? and are they fairly easy to work on?
I have a fair few cars in mind but last night I was browsing VX220 and lotus elise.
P.S. Yours is the the colour I want lol, with black wheels.

Stevo what sort of performance do these cars deliver?
I ask because the one or two i have come across on track seem somewhat sedate.

Thanks Stevo! @ Benyon, some things can be very costly - headlights and clams being good examples! But there are options... I'd recommend doing some reading on vx22.org. @ Magooagain - Common perspective on the vx forum seems to be that turbos in any state of tune are not as well suited to track use as the 2.2 n/a. For big power and controllable delivery thereof, supercharging is most often recommended. Have seen loads of clips where 'tubbys' get consistently reeled in on the bends by the n/a's.
