I've had a hint that my brother would like a decent car radio for his birthday for his Elise (which he uses a daily driver - 25-30 miles each way)

He uses an iPod / iPhone, so it doesn't need to be a CD player, so mech-less might be a possibility

I'm thinking that DAB might be a good idea, as I'm told that the aerial can sometimes be an issue on the Elise (due the the fibreglass shell?)

Single din and I'm guessing fairly simple-looking to fit in with an Elise dash

Budget circa £150

Any suggestions

I have a Philips mechanism -less stereo and a 64gb card. It's brilliant, it doesn't skip.Over pot holes and the sound is far better than I'd expected. It has USB and jack in on the front, 2 usb's on the rear and Bluetooth. I could of had a dab plug in for it but I hate the radio!

Alpine no contest. Excluding DAB though. Only ever hear bad things about DAB when mobile.
