Burnbike..
I don´t know what you have, but I have at my stock lot of lampredi 8 and 16V engines and some strategycal V6 busso parts (almost 20 complete engines dissassembled and cleaned...) waiting for "worse times"... parts like piston and rods are scrap - but the rest of the engine should be saved...
2ltr DOHC cranks are SAME (instead of mentioned additional drilling on early ones)
heat treatment is the same, everybody who tried to fully clean the crank channels and replaced the original plugs with threaded one knows:) these cranks are very hard and to create M12 thread for plug is little bit nerve wrecking...
blocks are same - instead of addittional plug on early NA, which is in same place as some pipe on turbo variant
-only difference is way of oil spraing of the pistons.. new ones have oil sprays fed from the main gallery, older ones have sprays on rods (especially 8V NA) , some has in main bearing small pipe..
alfa romeo TS (the new TS, 16V) are all cast cranks and these are rubbisch in comparison to lampredi 2ltr 16V crank..
I rebuilded my 1.8 16V engine in stilo to 2Ltr by use of 2Ltr TS crank and stilo abarth pistons so I know...what is better on that engine is that this TS based engine is by 30kg lighter and little bit smaller...ang has also lighter pistons with lower compression height and lighter rods..
