I have a ink black 20vt that has been sitting on the drive for 2 years.
Not started it up in all in that time and what I want to know what is the best way to go about it.
There is nothing wrong with the car when I took it off the road and just thought I should ask on here what to do for the best.
Any information would be great.
Kind regards
Steve

I recently did this myself at about the same time period.
I changed the fluids and turned it over by hand before first start up...
Came to turn the key...fired up first time.Runs fine.

Yes also you must consider the belts how long ago was they due ? It doesn't do them any good at all after time they start to deteriorate and crack in the ribs .

I personally would put some fresh fuel in , check oil levels ect unplug injectors so not to flood her and turn her over for a while then plug back in and pray smile don't run too long then get belts done if you plan getting her back on the road .

Regardless when belts was done I would get them done for sure after being stood two years good luck .

By putting a big spanner on the crank pully bolt and turning it clockwise when looking at it. Never turn it the wrong way.

The right thing to do is what jon13 and Szkom are recommending. If it were me I'd chuck a new battery on it and turn the key tongue

I've had mine off the road for 9 months, did the above after 6 months and it struck straight up.

Good luck, I'm sure it'll put a smile back on your face when you hear it running for the first time in 2 years.
