Or at least my opportunity to sneer at Cristiano "spoilt brat" Ronaldo has. It's probably bad karma to sneer at someone for whom things aren't going to plan but I'm going to do it anyway. I didn't watch the game as I've been doing other things but followed the text updates on the BBC website.

Just in case this is too cryptic, the thing that he's really wound me up with were the sour grapes comments about Iceland. I didn't believe how he couldn't realise that for a country the size of Iceland getting a draw against a big team like Portugal would feel absolutely fantastic.

Now they've followed that by him having a goal disallowed and missing a penalty and drawing AGAIN. I was hoping that every team that Portugal played would just defend and draw with them for the sole purpose of annoying Mr. SourGrapesIDeserveMoreThanThis.

And breathe out.

The contrast between the way Ronaldo interacts with his team mates compared with Bale is stark. Bale is an extremely positive influence on his less talented team mates. I'm not so sure that's the case with Ronaldo.

And when he himself has a bad game I can't help but think they might have been better off without him.

Quite, another positive example for me is Messi. In short he just bloody well gets on it.
