I know that there is los of info about this, but as I only do about 4000km a year on the coop I thought Id buy a standard clutch. Im runing still with the standard valeo clutch that hasn't been changed in the last 7 years, so I imagine standard one knowing it won't hold the maximum toque it should do for now.

Any sugestión? Its a 16vt

Thanks

A lot depends on how the power is delivered - if its a small, punchy turbo, the sudden kick of torque may overcome the friction, but a bigger, "softer" turbo is less likely to cause problems

I ran a standard clutch with over 300bhp and 280+ lb-ft, although it was close to its limit

280 lbft is the maximum that a stock clutch will handle - they're rated to 274 lbft. 16VTs typically "kick" harder than 20VTs, so a stock clutch won't be up to the job.

It just so happens we're discussing the perfect solution for you in this thread here:

You can also speak to Martin @ Deltaparts about his clutches - https://deltaparts1.wordpress.com/deltaparts-shop/transmission-and-driveline-part-2/

An organic disc and oe pressure plate would just be a stock clutch. Stock clutches are organic

What about a standard pressure plate and your kevlar clutch?
