Question to all fiat coupe friends in Italy;

We are driving from the UK to Italy in September 2018 for two weeks. We will be staying in and around the north of Italy, Maggiore, Como and Garda.

Are there any coupe meets around September/October in the region?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Last time I was in those parts, I saw a red one on the motorway just south of the lakes, a silver 1.8 outside the train station in Milan (3 days running) and an inky driving past the Ferrari factory within the space of 4 days. So hopefully you will at least spot one, even if you cant find a meet. cool

Hoping so and maybe a great photo opp with coupe cousin. Think I've spotted 4 over the years in Italy but there's a good number of them at a meet in bardolino.

What's on this side of the fence is more my thing

Had to look twice as I thought that was Neil's coupe.

A beautiful place Sienna and if this trip is a success in the coupe then maybe could make it to Tuscany for the next one.

The pictures worked when I first posted them? Photobucket images though, so thanks for sorting the links out thumb

Can anyone confirm if the silver car is a 1.8? I was only going on the wheels, but obviously they could have been changed

I had gone across the road to get a photo of the Dino outside the gates when the Coupe happened to be driving past. cool

That was a special trip I planned for my old man, his 60th year which happened to co-inside with him owning the Dino for 30 years with a surprise tour round the factory, Monza GP and a trip over the Stelvio, calling at Reims on the way home. I arranged to meet some of his friends on the ferry to join us, which took some keeping quiet and timing to avoid passing each other on the motorway, not to mention spotting each other in the queue to the ferry! biglaugh
A few more pictures of the trip here if of any interest - No more Coupes though frown :

Cool pictures. We visited the Reims track last year. Really wish I had taken the coupé that way.

Gone Audi mad!

I've really no knowledge on the details of the 1.8 and the only time I've seen one I recall it looked like this one in the photo

Great Pictures
Looked like a tremendous trip and one to be remembered. Our planned route is going in to Italy via the Gotthard pass and exiting 10 days later via the Stelvio so hoping to for some memorable photoshoots along the way.
