They just need a simple bolt and washer tapped and screwed into the ends to stop that happening. Easy and well-proven solution.
This is how it should have come out of Torino!

It's a large washer (or disc, if you prefer) around 30-40mm diameter held in place over the end of the bush with a short bolt that screws into a hole drilled and tapped in the arm (at the base of the "A" if you imagine the suspension arm resembling a letter "A")
