Hi,
Just a thought. There is a good day out for all the family on 26th August at Dunsfold aerodrome which is near Guildford in Surrey.
It is along the format of an air show together with classic cars/supercars and military vehicles etc.
Thing is, they have a section where car clubs can attend. There is a whole list on their website http://www.wingsandwheels.net
Now admittedly a lot of these clubs are really classic cars like Aston's, Rolls, Stags etc but would there be any interest from our own club? OK, it is hard to group the Coupe in the classic car status but the impression I have from their site is that all car clubs would be welcome. Their list also includes the likes of the 'Sunbeam Talbot Register' so we will hardly be out of place!
It may be too late to get car club access but you never know!
Would anyone be interested? If so, I would be willing to do the legwork and contact them if there was enough interest. Their site says they can give spaces for up to 30 cars. This figure may be a bit optimistic for us but I would have thought 10 or so may do the trick? It says entrance will be £10 per car and driver with each additional person £10 per adult and £5 per child which is half the entrance fee on the day.
What do you think? Anyone interested?

I am up for it, it's pretty local for me.

Pete.

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

Hi Pete,
Judging by the tumbleweed blowing around this topic I guess there is no interest!
Never mind. I think I will still go. Maybe see you there.
