Had a little session at Owens on Monday and here is my Graph :

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v636/sean20vt/LatestRRresults.jpg

350.8 BHP @ 6663 RPM 307.6 lbft @ 5313 RPM 1.3 BAR boost max. 1.1 BAR at redline.

The figures were achieved using a Novitec chip and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
I had an Unichip fitted but removed it during this RR session as it did absolutely nothing to improve power/torque/AFR figures !
This was proved when we did back to back runs with and without the Unichip. In fact without the Unichip the top end power is ever so slightly better !

That is a lot of power for just 1.3bar on your mods!! Would be interesting to see what you get at Surrey Rolling Road.

should get the same. Owen Devs rolling road was used for testing all the production Mitsubishi FQ models don't forget and those typically make the same or more than what it says on the tin. They also did the Mitsubishi Warrior power upgrade

Think you're asking in the wrong section Nick, this is all 20vt's, not a 16vt ;\)

I know.... but i was thinking if i can use a 20vt Fpr on my 16vt, then surely it would be a similar job to fit an adjustable one to 16vt as 20vt????
Probably blatently wrong!!!! \:P

Well, looking at the graph again it's probably about 1.35 BAR but reads 1.4 BAR on my Apexi. I agree there is a lot of power for my mods....way above my expectations, but it's there so hooooray !

The adjustable FPR is from a Cosworth I think. Which one ? I'm not sure. Mark at Owens supplied it.

I have known Mark @ Owens for quite a while now ( prob. 7-8 years). I find him a straight forward guy to deal with. No BS talk.
Yes, they are always very busy. Call, call and call is the thing to do ! I find calling about 5.15 - 5.30 pm is the best.

I have used Owens many times (6-7) at various stages of tune and compared with the results at other places,( PTS, that place in Uxbridge..can't remember their name ), there have been only small differences.

I've put a small update in the general section to avoid hijacking this thread.
