Hi, just thought i`d show you what i have bin up to the last two month
After the seals went on my standard turbo i thought i would upgrade
so i got my hand`s on a stage one gp turbo`s hybrid.
Unfortunatley on my way to pick it up the coup blew the ringlands off piston 2
the oil had buggered up the lambda sensor and i also had a badly split boost pipe
So the car goes in to the garage and i try an source some pistons, decide to go for wossners from P,E,C,
wossner forged pistons 1 wossner forged pistons 2 fitted pistons full gasket set So it all goes back together, but the day i pick it up it`s smoking a bit!!! must be crap in the exhaust from the engine failure
ran her steady for 150mile and still smoking
so back it goes, turbo off and the seals have gone after 150 mile!! loads of play too...
So i now have x3 fccuked turbos
triple turbo`s So turbo has gone to turbo dynamics for a refurb
I`m aiming 300 bhp so i have bought a charge cooler to go with my pace side mount
have a gtec2 to go in too.
Also fitting some decent rubber
