Anyone up for a North Notts / South Yorks meet in the near future, Keep seeing meets in other areas but nothing around Sheffield / Doncaster, Is anyone in coups out there ??

Looks like a decent number are interested, I will leave for another week to see if any more show interest then sort a route / date etc, Thinking maybe a run up the snake pass through glossop and back down woodhead pass taking in two of the best driving roads around, will be some fantastic photo opportunities with the best cars around in the best scenery, then maybe a pub lunch, but fully open to suggestions so if you have any alternatives or ideas and any dates in mind please shout up.

HI All thanks for the response, looks like a go for this meet then, Any preference on dates, how about Sunday 16th December or Sunday 13th January.

As some are coming South and Some North, what about meeting just off junction 31 of the M1, Theres a big layby as soon as you leave the M1 on the left 50yds towards Worksop on the A57. We can then shoot down the new A57 into Sheffield and onto the Snake, drive the full length to Glossop, cross over to the Woodhead pass and back over to Sheffield, if anyone wants a pub lunch after that there is a nice place called the Red Lion Hotel at Todwick with a big carpark to accomodate all the Coupes, its about half a mile from the start location, we could even meet there first , order lunch and then go on the drive.
Anyway it's upto you all so please feel free to suggest alternative dates, runs, start points etc.

december the 9 th is good for me.

sounds a good idea meeting at M1 jct 31 , i think going to the pub last would be better then if some people dont fancy it they dont have to.

December 16th would be the best one for me, I cant make the 9th. January would be fine too, nothing booked there yet.

So how does the 16th sound? Slim chance now I could make the 9th, but doubtful.

Hi all, iv'e had a couple of calls asking for the January date and a few of you have indicated you would be ok with this, so can we have a poll, The Second Sunday in January, the 13th, say a 10 o'clock meet.
Would everyone be up for this ?
It would give us plenty of time to sort numbers and arrange to attend.

Please let me know and we can go with the majority decision, either this date or any alternative put forward.

If we can commit either way by the end of the week we can plan it in.

Also does anyone want a pub lunch, if so please say and i can pre book for all.

Hi Shaun, sorry for the delay, i've been off line for a couple of weeks, anyway no probs with the merc or coupe whichever you have ready.
