I got my car back just before Christmas but have been so busy i havent had chance to post pictures until now. I had a spare hour at girl friends today so cleaned the coop and took a few photos.

Her camera is a bit knackered but i managed to get these...
Quick wash!

20vt badges removed!

Evening setting in.

I will get some better photos next few days.

I am pleased with the results as i was unsure about adding the LE kit but constant chipping on the painted sill was driving me mad!

I had the 20vt badges removed which i think really tidys up the window line.

On a negative point i was disapointed with the new grill i ordered through fastijs as it seems to be slighty twisted and doesnt sit as nice as the old faded one =( body shop guy thinks its either not original or its been sat around or crushed in post.

I had my wheels refurbed last year but they have picked up terrible chips from having new tires added. refurbed wheels seem to be more brittle than the original coating...any views?

I am hopeing that i can get the wheels refurbed again, may be paint the calipers yellow, recaro's from carl and may be a nice stainless exhaust. Christmas has killed the bank balance though \:\(

Very nice!

Looks like quite a steep hill for a coupé handbrake to handle........ \:D

Tomo, looks very nice!

Where did you get the respray done from?

Looking at the pics on the other thread, it looks like the car was stripped down properly (quarter glass out etc), which is how I want mine done.

I live down south in Plymouth so the work was done at Lloyds auto refinishers 01752 250575. They are good but a bit slow with privare work.

If you are mid country you would be mad to go anywhere but carlT (07749069057)as he knows the cars body work better than any one in England. I think he has a long waiting list but its better to save up and wait and have a proper job.

Tom

Oh christ, that looks luverrrrrrly.....

Love the de-badged B-pillars, too. I think they look really cheap on the Coop, myself.

Stunning colour, Moon Grey. Took me a while to get used to it but now I love it, epsecially the way it changes hue dependent on the time of day. Sometimes it's grey, then silver, and even a mild blue occasionally.

Keep it like this \:D
