Was insured with Bell (part of the same group as Admiral & Elephant) but when enquiring they wanted £114 EXTRA per year for my Plus vs my normal 20vt! \:o \:\?

Upon searching around the usual suspects I found almost all wanted serious dollar more for the Plus, the only exception being MoreThan, who only wanted £25 more per year.

I am now therefore insured with MoreThan! £409 fully comp, protected no claims, etc. \:\) Best quote elsewhere was at least £150 more! And I get 2 months free next year, assuming I don't claim this year

Yes - tried several - unfortunately their basic quotes were miles off so didn't even bother asking about their rate for the Plus! \:\?

Did you try Adrian Flux? They wouldn't insure me when I was looking for quotes because of the area!
The cheapest quote I got was from swiftcover.com 600 and something quid. That's 28yrs old, full NCD (not protected) no breakdown, no hire car.
Can't help thinking I'm paying a little over the odds for what I'm getting, but I just couldn't find anywhere else that was any cheaper.

I've just got mine insured but because I'm a main driver on my girlfriends mini cooper s, they wouldn't let me transfer my 5 years no claims!

I didn't know you couldn't use your no claims bonuses on 2 cars!!! Got there in the end with a bit of hassle.

That depends on what Coupe you are comparing it too, my understanding is the 6 speed box is minutely quicker to 60?
